Four neighborhood-based nonprofits that have been working to beautify their part of Atlantic City have each been awarded about $1 million toward that goal. Here s what the four groups have said they can accomplish with the funding:
If all goes well for companies working with the Atlantic County Economic Alliance, there will soon be hotels, youth sporting facilities and a bustling cargo operation in and around Atlantic City International Airport.
"Ducktown: An Atlantic City Immigration Story" opened Wednesday and will run through March 31. It celebrates the Atlantic City neighborhood through the stories of past and present immigrants. There will be an opening reception at 5 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University.
