Philadelphia artist Janice Merendino explored the commonalities between the Atlantic City Ducktown neighborhood her Italian grandparents lived in since 1904, and life in the diverse community today, through an exhibit title "Ducktown: An Atlantic City Immigration Story," which is being showcased at the Noyes Museum of Stockton University.
"Ducktown: An Atlantic City Immigration Story" opened Wednesday and will run through March 31. It celebrates the Atlantic City neighborhood through the stories of past and present immigrants. There will be an opening reception at 5 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Noyes Arts Garage of Stockton University.
