Thats when investigators called her husband and started piecing together what happened. They learned through carolyn mattinglys husband that he was at work and there was a dispute at work involving an employee there, andrew racca. Reporter Richa Mattingly is compreh exe Vice President o the foundation where racca worked. Racca had been accused of theft at the workplace. Reporter police say the investigation is ongoing. It appears after being confronted at work by richard mattingly, racca went to mattinglys home. Developing story, but we have preliminary details. Investigator still on the scene as they are trying to piece it together, interviewing neighbors and Family Members. Anne Arundel County Police say their officers arrived at this home at about 130 in the afternoon, a quiet crofton called a sack. They had gotten a call from a Family Member who was outside of the home. They said the 21yearold man inside was about to harm himself. When they arrived, they had to force their way in and at the top of the stairs was a 21yearold holding what appeared to be a rifle, put it at the police. When he would not drop the weapon, one officer fired striking the man in his stomach. He was taken to shock trauma in critical condition. As this was going down, another Family Member was inside the home. Officer there was somebody else in the house. We are interviewing that person as we speak.
