when asked what sets the white house s task force on 21st century policing apart from similar efforts before it, president obama responded like this: the president of the united state is deeply invest in the making sure that this time is different. by his side, the task force co-chair philadelphia police commissioner charles ramsey, he will help lead a 90 day investigation, to help improve how the nation s police force is functions. even though we ve done community policing as a profession for the last couple of decades, many communities have been left behind, primarily communities of colors, more challenged communities. says the task force is born out of the ferguson protests and police response, ramsey says, there is no one easy solution, but the task force will work to bring the white house something action-able. i think there are key areas that we have to look at in terms of just policing. one is establishing trust and ledges massey in neighborhoods across the
