SWEETWATER COUNTY  The Castle Rock Hospital District (CRHD) Board will be discussing EMS services in Green River with the Sweetwater County Commissioners Tuesday morning.
On January 19, 2021, at the Sweetwater County Courthouse, the hospital district and the Commissioners will discuss the recent cancellation of ambulance contracts.
On December 15, 2020, the Sweetwater County Commissioners announced they will terminate service contracts and all associated funding with those contracts with Sweetwater Medics and Castle Rock Ambulance Service, effective March 31, 2021.

The Commissioners cited economic hardships and continued failure to find solutions for ambulance service funding as the reasons to terminate the contracts. ....
