I want to show you some video of what happened overnight. You can see it shows a line of fire spreading through the hills near this area. There are plumes of smoke into the sky and there were 200 acres burned. They did stop but it has not been contained. We will be going to the scene to get more information. As far as the freeways, this happened at 11 45 with a crash on 580 near northland. We got word that all lanes are now open but both the directions were completely shut down. Alatoona pass. There was a fire that open overnight that was sparked by a vehicle, a big rig on the right shoulder. As of right now, this is one of our busiest areas. We are seeing some hefty do legs. This is your all lanes were previously shut down but all lanes are open and they reopen everything and canceled this just before 5 00. There is a bit of a backup you give yourself a few extra minutes. If you are traveling out of tracy from our house, towards grant line, it will take you 15 minutes to do so. We are seeing some pretty significant delays into the Allatoona Pass. The crash happened at 11 45 last night and at one point, both directions were shut down. All lanes are open so traffic is moving in both directions but with the morning ride, on the westbound side, we are seeing some pretty busy conditions. It was slow out of tracy and noun house and making matters worse, it is right around greenville. It is a busy ride in that area. Katie nielsen has the latest information and she is in the Allatoona Pass with what happened with the fire. Reporter gianna, we are looking at this traffic backup that you can still see. You can see trucks, cars, just crawling their way along westbound 580 and you can also see the black charred grass. That is where this fire was burning overnight. The baseball field at san quinten has been turned into a triage because of the covid19 outbreak. Since the governor spoke this morning, the number of inmate cases has gone up by 19, to 1,030. Whats concerning is how quickly that number increased. 987 new cases in the past 14 days alone.
