Trampled By Turtles is heading to Cayce with a show at one of the largest live music venues operating in the country, the Columbia Speedway Entertainment Center. The band will perform live as part of the Cola Concert Series Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 7:00 PM. Country star Daniel Donato will open. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 23 at 10:00 AM. Fans can get early access to tickets by signing up for the Cola Concerts Speedway Club at ColaConcerts.com.
Trampled by Turtles are from Duluth, Minnesota, where frontman Dave Simonett initially formed the group as a side project in 2003. At the time, Simonett had lost most of his music gear, thanks to a group of enterprising car thieves who d ransacked his vehicle while he played a show with his previous band. Left with nothing more than an acoustic guitar, he began piecing together a new band, this time taking inspiration from bluegrass ....

The Disco Biscuits to play Columbia Speedway

Cola Concerts is adding a pair of shows featuring the
Disco Biscuits, the pioneers of “trancefusion,” bridging the gap between electronic music and jam bands. They will play two nights, Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19 at 7:00 PM. Tickets for both nights go on sale Friday, April 2 at noon. Two-night packages are available. Fans can get early access to tickets by signing up for the Cola Concerts Speedway Club at ColaConcerts.com.
The Disco Biscuits are an entirely different band today than they were when they first broke out of Philadelphia in the mid-90s. That’s not to say that they’ve abandoned their foundation, switched gears or set sail for distant shores. They still remain rock pioneers whose soul belongs as much to marathon dance parties as it does to live improvisational journeys.
