Tedeschi Trucks Band Announces 2021 Beacon Theatre Residency In NYC, Share "Little Wing" Performance

Today, Tedeschi Trucks Band announces the return of their Beacon Theatre residency. Proudly proclaiming, "We're Back," these will be some of the first performances featuring the full, reunited 12-piece band since February of 2020. The shows will be presented by Live Nation and will take place on September 30, October 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, and 9. Tickets for all seven shows will go on sale on Friday, June 18 at 10:00AM EST. ....

Layla Revisited (Live At LOCKN ), a one-off live recording of the seminal Derek & The Dominos album Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, performed in its entirety with special guest Trey Anastasio. Recorded on August 24, 2019 at the LOCKN Festival in Arrington, VA, Layla Revisited captures Tedeschi Trucks Band at their incendiary best, with Anastasio proving the perfect foil to the transcendent musical union of guitarist Derek Trucks and guitarist/vocalist Susan Tedeschi, and frequent TTB collaborator Doyle Bramhall II, further supporting a live experience that, in the words of Uproxx’s Steven Hyden, provides “life-affirming shelter from the soul-destroying storm.” ....

Dark Star Orchestra to Perform in the lot at Soldier Field June 11 & 12, Approach 3000th Show

Dark Star Orchestra formed in Chicago, Illinois and offered its first public show on November 11, 1997, has performed 2997 shows since that time. The band today announces the return to its Windy City birthplace roots by hosting a pair of shows in downtown Chicago at Soldier Field.
On Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12, DSO will perform a drive in concert on the South Parking lot of the legendary venue. Soldier Field tickets are available via local and artist presales Thursday at 10 AM CT and on sale to the general public Friday, April 30 at 10 AM CT.
While the Chicago performance may fill the souls of fans within the Midwest, things get really interesting as the band heads to the West Coast for a trio of shows in Felton, CA at Roaring Camp May 7 - 9. The first night of these sold out performances will mark the band’s 3000th live performance together and some very special, inanimate guests join the celebration. ....

Cola Concerts Welcomes Trampled By Turtles

Trampled By Turtles is heading to Cayce with a show at one of the largest live music venues operating in the country, the Columbia Speedway Entertainment Center. The band will perform live as part of the Cola Concert Series Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 7:00 PM. Country star Daniel Donato will open. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 23 at 10:00 AM. Fans can get early access to tickets by signing up for the Cola Concerts Speedway Club at ColaConcerts.com.
Trampled by Turtles are from Duluth, Minnesota, where frontman Dave Simonett initially formed the group as a side project in 2003. At the time, Simonett had lost most of his music gear, thanks to a group of enterprising car thieves who d ransacked his vehicle while he played a show with his previous band. Left with nothing more than an acoustic guitar, he began piecing together a new band, this time taking inspiration from bluegrass ....
