JAMMU, Feb 15: Five persons including three members of a family were killed while a 3-years-old girl had miraculous escape when the Eeco car they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into Raggi Nallah on Batote-Doda-Kishtwar highway in mountainous Doda district.
As per police sources, the ill-fated vehicle bearing temporary registration number was on its way to Batote from Doda, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it plunged into Raggi Nallah on Batote-Doda-Kishtwar highway in Doda district today evening, resulting into on the spot death of five persons.

SRINAGAR: Five members of a family were killed while a minor girl escaped miraculously after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Ragi Nallah in Doda district of Jammu division.
Officials told the news agency KNO that an accident took place when a vehicle (Ecco) plying on Doda-Batote stretch of Chenab Valley plunged into a roadside gorge at Ragi Nallah near Assar in Doda district.
They said the driver has lost control over the vehicle and fell into a deep gorge, resulting in on spot death of five members of a family.

A 65-year-old Pakistani woman, residing in Uttar Pradesh s Etah district for the past 35 years has landed in trouble after she took up the post of officiating village head and her credentials were disclosed.
Bano Begum came to India from Karachi, Pakistan, to be a part of the wedding of one of her relatives in the Etah district never to go back. She tied the knot with one Akhtar Ali and has been living here since then by getting her long-term visa extended time and again.
