The program is scheduled to take place at the Lakeshirts Fieldhouse inside Detroit Lakes High School, with doors opening at 10:15 a.m. and the 45-minute program starting at 10:30 a.m.
Local veterans shared their stories of war, the military and their post-military lives with Detroit Lakes High School students as part of a Veterans Day program, which included an all-school assembly and 21-gun salute.
Two juveniles under the age of 16 have been charged in Becker County Juvenile Court in connection with threats against at least one Detroit Lakes school on Nov. 2, according to the Becker County Attorney. The threats caused a lockdown at Detroit Lakes High School that day.
