Birthday bash and they know how to do it right. preparations already underway. they re already securing the mall, roads are cleared, security is out in full force. they ve set up the security checkpoints. hundreds of thousands of people literally will make their way down to the mall. a lot live locally. a lot of people make this a destination spot in order to come here and be part of the celebration. every person that comes onto the mall will have to enter a secure checkpoint. so it does take some time. but of course, it s all throughout the day. people coming down. there is the festivities on the mall for people and also that capitol 4th concert that goes on on the west lawn of the capitol at 8:00 o clock tonight. many people will go and stake their claims up there so they can see the star studded performance. it s always wonderful. it s put on by pbs. they do a lot of patriotic songs and this year, some of the stars will include the co-host tom bergeron, one of my favorites is ....
