Powerful winds taking down trees in the town of monson. In some places, there was so much debris that roads had to be blocked off. This is the same town devastated by a tornado back in 2011. Looks like most of that weather has moved out of area. Thats right. The cold front that brought us the rain and the heavy winds pushing well to the south. High pressure building in. You notice around High Pressure the winds go clockwise so we do developed. Persistent out there. Youre going to feel them when you step outside the door first thing this morning. Clouds. Still have a little bit around the cape and the islands but beginning to finally clear things out. We should see full sunshine once we get to the afternoon.
