Lights on this morning. Very slow out of the Central Valley as per usual for about an hour drive now southbound pardon me, westbound on 580. On 880 in the fremont area near mission we have an accident blocking a couple lanes of traffic there. Emergency crews are on the scene to the redwood city area. We have southbound near whipple an accident involving a big rig, three lanes blocked there and a car is stuck to the big rig. Theyll have to get a tow to get the cars out of there. Powerful winds taking down trees in the town of monson. In some places, there was so much debris that roads had to be blocked off. This is the same town devastated by a tornado back in 2011. Looks like most of that weather has moved out of area. Thats right. The cold front that brought us the rain and the heavy winds pushing well to the south. High pressure building in.
