by a bullet at the facility sally port. we have been following the story all morning long and we re joined now with the latest it. we understand charges have been filed? reporter: charges were just filed moments ago. first, investigators about 45 minutes ago released the name of that wounded officer. he is iowa. as you said, we are told he was grazed in the stomach. this all happen overnight here at the jail. let you use a video. about 2 hours ago, i was the first reported here at the magistrates office as a suspect danie mcmullen was booked on several charges. he now faces charges which includes all of the deadly weapon with intent to kill. cops say he was initially arrested for misdemeanor peeping at the home of his estranged wife when the officer outside the jail here he pulled a 380 handgun from his back pants area and that is when we are told officer was shot. the big question, how did the suspect under arrest managed to get a loaded firearm inside the intake area of
