Jack Brennan was at home in Indian Hills when he heard a knock on the glass of his front door last Wednesday morning. He said that two men in a black pickup who did not identify themselves inquired about his 94-year-old mother-in-law, who lives with Brennan. The men spoke to him about general election ballots that were impounded at the request of Republican candidates James ※Jimbo” Williams and Tom Shelley who each lost his race for state Senate and the Grant County Commission’s District 5, respectively.
