Protestors tried to block some of them from entering yesterday and a glass door was shattered as protestors tried to force their way in. The Regents Committee voted 72 in favor of the increase. What it says, look, this is where we are now, this is the budget we need and will need moving forward. The university does have close to seven billion and seven years ago it was more like 5. 5 billion. Reporter tuition is now a little over 12,000 a year. If the plan ais approved by the board today, it would go up to more than 15,000 by the year 2019. And we will be there as the regents take their full vote ....
