The Clarendon police are continuing their probe into Tuesday night s shooting death of a couple at their home in Raymond s district in Hayes in the parish.
The deceased are 34-year-old Ashlatha Coleman, a cosmetologist, and 55-year-old chef, Delroy Bailey, both of Raymond s in Hayes.
Reports are that about 11:30 pm, the couple was at home sleeping along with their three young children when loud explosions were heard.
Residents alerted the police and on their arrival, the bodies of Coleman and Bailey were seen with gunshot wounds.
They died at the scene.
The children were not harmed during the incident.

Investigators believe Tuesday night s double murder in Hayes, Clarendon is linked to a feud between two rival gangs.
