New Delhi: At least 100 schools in the Delhi-NCR area received identical bomb threats by email on Wednesday, triggering mass evacuations and large-scale searches as panicked parents rushed to.
Numerous schools in Delhi and Noida received bomb threats via email, resulting in the evacuation of at least 80 schools. Police, bomb squads, and fire brigades rushed to the scenes. Despite extensive searches, authorities found nothing, leading them to believe the threats were hoaxes. The threatening emails, invoking jihad, warned of imminent harm, prompting heightened security measures and investigations.
