Delhi records 337 infections, 36 deaths; positivity rate at 0.46 per cent

The number of new coronavirus cases and the positivity rate saw a slight increase from Tuesday s figures. The national capital recorded 316 cases with a positivity rate of 0.44 per cent, and 41 fatalities, according to the health bulletin released on Tuesday.

Delhi had reported 231 instances of the COVID-19 infection, the lowest since March 2, with the positivity rate dipping to 0.36 per cent, according to the health bulletin released on Monday. The fatalities stood at 36.

New Delhi: In the wake of the rising cases of coronavirus in the national capital, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday held a Covid-19 review meeting and took stock of the situation. The meeting was attended by ministers and top officers of the Delhi government.
In the meeting, the Delhi government has decided to convert several hospitals run by the government and the private sector into fully COVID facilities .

New Delhi: With a sudden spike in coronavirus infections in Delhi, the positive rate has entered into double digits in the national capital for the first time this year. The city has reported 7,897 new Covid-19 cases and 39 deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the health department.
The positivity rate has risen to 10.21 per cent, breaching the 10 per cent mark for the first time this year. The Covid-19 positivity rate mid-November last year had stood above 15 per cent.
