People. Matt, the fire has claimed a life. Tell us more. Reporter thats right, that person was trying to evacuate, but they got into a car accident, and the car overturned. Firefighters trying to save as many people as possible, trying to get everyone to evacuate. The fire has covered more than 15 square miles and is quickly moving to heavily populated areas. You see the dramatic pictures. The fire started yesterday and is powered by the strong santa ana winds. Some gusts have topped 15 miles per hour. Firefighters have been fearing Something Like this could happen, and it did. The wind has been pushing the fire about 60 miles northwest of los angeles. It has about 30,000 residents. Its also nearing ventura which has around 106,000 residents. The fire is pushing quickly toward venturventura.
