Oil. libya has to sell its oil one way or another, it s really about need for american protection in the world. people need american protection and they complain about the protector, the nature of the world in which we live. speaking of oil, we discussed this, general kimmitt. i m concerned based on what i m hearing from u.s. officials, there is deep nervousness, gadhafi, if he s going down will start doing what saddam hussein did in kuwait and start blowing up his oil fields and there would be an environmental and economic disaster in the mediterranean. certainly, whoever takes over after gadhafi takes over for libya, that would be the first order of business to put those fires out. it s a real concern and not discussed as part of the u.n. council resolution. we can only hope the planners are anticipating that as an option and have contingency plans ready to handle that. we will continue this conversation. they re watching cnn all over the world right now in 240 ....
