Former Liberal advisor David Gazzard says Prime Minister Scott Morrison is going back to what was a “well tested program” after it was announced National Cabinet shall convene twice a week.
The National Cabinet will meet twice a week to discuss the nation’s vaccine rollout after the program has faced significant challenges.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison will meet with state and territory leaders bi-weekly beginning on Monday April 19.
“One of the reasons we were so successful in terms of combatting the virus in the first place so that we now have effectively zero transmission, zero deaths, is that … National Cabinet worked together well with the feds and the states,” Mr Gazzard told Sky News.
“So, I think he’s going back to what was a well tested program to get this under control”. ....
