An Update of Public-Safety LTE Deployment Efforts Around Europe Monday, March 08, 2021 | Comments Countries around Europe find themselves in different stages in the process of deploying public-safety LTE capabilities. Officials from five European countries offered an update on their progress in deploying the capabilities during a webinar hosted by TCCA. Belgium In Belgium, the Astrid TETRA network provides voice services to public protection and disaster relief (PPDR), and in 2014, added data communications for its users through the Blue Light Mobile service. However, the Blue Light Mobile service is still a limited data solution as it does not meet mission-critical requirements. Mexico, Colombia Launch Consultations on Unlicensed 6 GHz Use Friday, February 05, 2021 | Comments The telecommunications regulators of Mexico and Colombia launched consultations considering whether to allow unlicensed use in the 6 GHz band. In Mexico, the frequency range between 5.925 and 7.125 GHz is used for fixed satellite service, fixed service and mobile service. Additionally, in the 6.445 â 6.775 and 6.785 â 7.115 GHz bands of spectrum, there have been concessions granted to radio relay operations used for rail transport communications. The Mexican Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) launched its consultation on the spectrum in November 2020 and it ended in January 2019. i m sergeant austin garret, traffic division, overseeing the criminal division into the accident that occurred on monday. the investigation is still ongoing and we re still in the very early stages of the investigation. there s a great deal of physical and testimonial evidence to acquire and process. our number one priority is having the children and families impacted by this horrible crash. i ll provide you with an update on the investigation and conduct a few questions at the end. we have obtained washrrants for all data devices on the bus. we are reviewing video from the bus. some of the video we have shows views from the front, back and sides. those are currently being examined, as i said. we re also interviewing witnesses. we ve not started speaking to the children involved in the crash yet but we will in the future. that s also very important part ....
