Obituary - Marlin Mogan Marlin Mogan The morning of February 20th, 2021, surrounded by family in his home, Marlin Mogan passed away after battling cancer. Marlin was 63 years old. Born January 27, 1958 in Glasgow, Montana, to John and Agnes (Jones) Mogan, Marlin grew up in an active, loving household with older siblings Dannette, Nancy, Gilbert, and younger brother Edwin. Marlin loved sharing stories of wild childhood adventures and working on the family farm. In high school, Marlin enjoyed playing basketball and running cross-country, but he was especially proud of his accomplishments in FFA. In 1976 he was on the FFA livestock team that placed first at state and went on to Nationals and received a personal bronze medal in livestock judging. ....
CALGARY By the time Annette O’Connor died from COVID-19 on December 13, her son Jerry had been asking her care home for better safety procedures for months. “It was just so alarming,” Jerry O’Connor says. He said he raised his concerns over incidents at AgeCare’s Skypointe home as far back as September. He said on several occasions he arrived at the home only to find visitors and residents coming and going with no security, and witnessed staff without masks ignoring social distancing rules posted in the facility. “Those were their rules - not mine and when I walked in there I had my mask on. I was obeying all their rules,” he says. ....
