PHILADELPHIA, Penn. - The Clemson Tigers impressed in the first day of Penn Relays as Marie Forbes secured first-place in the women's hammer throw to be tabbed the event champion in Philadelphia. Forbes throw of 63.49 marked a new season best for the Tiger as she has continued to thrive this outdoor season. Going into the weekend, the mark would have been ranked No. 22 in the nation.
