Reporter well frank and heather, this statue has been here since 1958 when the school was founded. Its been vandalized before, but never to this extent. I wanted to show you the bullet that hit this statue made out of stone. Eight rounds were fired, one bullet even striking the school. The statue of st. Felicitas sits outside the school baring its name in san leandro. The christian statue now a target of hate. Its very upsetting somebody would come and do such a thing and hurt this statue. My mom heard the gunshots, then we heard the police say get on the ground, get on the ground. Reporter around 2 00 in the afternoon saturday in Broad Daylight Police say a neighbor reported gunfire at st. Felicitas church. There they discovered the suspect had fired eight rounds into the statue. If you take a closer look one bullet hit the flag pole and into the school itself. None
