course, in the late 60s those demographics were huge but to see in immigration of groups with higher rates of interpersonal violence along those lines but now i don t see that yes there is still the legal migration and yes they do have high crime rates, but it seems to be manageable and the sea anything growing at a proportion to be unmanageable so far i think we are reaching a political consensus that the border does have to be closed off to keep up with the situation people coming in to united states illegally i think the left end of the right to our reaching a consensus on that but i don t see the immigration migration high crime and those who are coming to the country like the asian population or eastern european population have the low crime rate. so if anything they re contributing to the stability and certainly the criminal justice system has been strengthened and toughened although we have reached a consensus that is so punitive and relaxed to be less punitive ....
