Wyoming Valley Wyoming Valley Children’s Association (WVCA) will hold its 29th annual “Do It for the Kids” Walk-A-Thon on Saturday, April 17. Rain date is Saturday, May 1. Presenting sponsor is Sundance Vacations. The walk-a-thon will be modified this year to allow for social distancing and COVID-19 safety procedures. The event will be held outdoors, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the WVCA school. Guests will now be required to preschedule timeslots for the walk and all food and promotional items will be provided with “to-go” options. Guests will be also be required to maintain six feet of distance between parties, masks must be worn at all times while on WVCA property (unless stationary and actively eating or drinking) and sanitation stations will be provided.
