Kirksville Kiwanis Club welcomes Adair County Public Library director

The Kirksville Kiwanis Club welcomed Dana DeVore to speak at their Feb. 15,  meeting. DeVore is the director of the Adair County Public Library in Kirksville. She discussed the many programs and resources offered by the public library. Kirksville Kiwanis Club hosts Julia Jack-Scott | Kirksville Daily Express

The Kirksville Kiwanis Club welcomed Julia Jack-Scott to speak at their Jan. 18 meeting. Jack-Scott is with the Bear Creek Community Land Trust, which is an intentional community situated on 184 acres of land outside of La Plata. She presented on the community and its mission to uplift the health of people and the earth by weaving their lives together in an inclusive, interdependent community. Kirksville Kiwanis Club hears from fellow Kiwanian, Dr. Carolyn Chrisman

The Kirksville Kiwanis Club welcomed fellow Kiwanian Dr. Carolyn Chrisman to speak at their Jan. 11 meeting. Chrisman is the Director of Development for the Hannibal Regional Healthcare System Foundation. She presented on the Foundation s "Inspire Hope" campaign, which is raising funds for a Cancer Patient Assistance Fund. Kirksville Kiwanis Club donates warm children's clothing to the Kirksville R-III School District

The Kiwanis Club of Kirksville recently donated over 440 pieces of warm clothing to the Kirksville R-III School District to be distributed to local children in need this winter. This record-setting amount of warm children’s clothing was raised through the club’s annual Kirksville Kiwanis #Christmas Parade, which was held Saturday, Nov. 25, in historic downtown Kirksville, as part of Kirksville’s Hometown Holiday.
