BOLTON West MP Chris Green and Cllr Anna-Marie Watters are calling on Bolton Council to address traffic concerns in Daisy Hill. A Temporary Road Closure notice for Leigh Road, Westhoughton has been published for a period of approximately 12 months. The Government has invested £2.5m to repair the bridge at Daisy Hill Station, with the council planning to divert all traffic via Wearish Lane. Local residents have aired concerns about this plan with their local MP and Cllr Watters who are working together to get clarity on traffic proposals from Bolton Council.
