Sex offenders jailed across south east and south west London in 2020.
It was not the best year for most, but 2020 saw a large number of suspects brought to justice for horrific crimes, among those some of worst sex offenders in the country.
Whilst everyday life was badly affected by the pandemic, the courts were busy sentencing a variety of offenders to jail time, with the News Shopper reporting on their cases.
Dozens were put behind bars, but perhaps the worst to be sentenced are the sex offenders, paedophiles and rapists.

A man who hit a teenager over the head before dragging her into bushes and raping her has been jailed.
William Trotter, 39, of Dagonet Road, Bromley was today sentenced to life imprisonment, to serve a minimum 12 years at Croydon Crown Court.

Trotter had been found guilty of rape and kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence following a 12-day trial.
He was jailed for eight years for the kidnap, which will run concurrently. ....

Violent Bromley rapist handed life-sentence | This Is Local London

A violent sexual predator who hit a teenage girl over the head, before dragging her into bushes and raping her, has been jailed for life.
Appearing before Croydon Crown Court on Wednesday, December 16, William Trotter, 39, of Dagonet Road, Bromley was sentenced to life imprisonment, to serve a minimum of 12 years.
Trotter had previously been found guilty of rape and kidnap with intent to commit a sexual offence following a 12-day trial at the same court. He was jailed for eight years for the kidnap, to run concurrently. He is also to remain on licence and on the sex offenders register for life. ....
