Ganesh Puja celebrations in Bokaro, India, saw the construction of impressive pandals resembling the Burj Khalifa and Akshardham Temple. The City Centre pandal, designed after the Burj Khalifa, stood at a height of 121 feet and featured a 28-foot-high idol of Lord Ganpati. The Mazdoor Maidan pandal replicated the Akshardham Temple. Skilled artisans from Kolkata crafted the idols, while experts from the same city decorated the pandals with intricate designs and lighting.
Prayagraj: With two more deaths, the toll in the hooch tragedy at Katariya village in Pratapgarh mounted to six on Thursday.
So far, five persons, including main accused Dabbu Singh, have been apprehended. A joint team of the police and excise department have launched a hunt for three others, including a local liquor mafia and sitting pradhan.
According to the police, Dabbu was planning to contest the gram pradhan election from Katariya and had allegedly distributed spurious liquor to woo villagers on March 30.
IG (Prayagraj range) K P Singh told TOI, “Two more people, identified as Rampal (50) and Rammilan Kori (35), residents of Ratiyapur and Katariya villages, have died during treatment The condition of three others is said to be stable.”

Pratapgarh: Six people were killed due to the consumption of spurious liquor in Uttar Pradesh s Pratapgarh, state police said on Thursday.
Five people including the main accused Dabbu Singh have been arrested, while liquor mafia Pavan Singh, who is the pradhan and owner of rice mill and brick kiln, is absconding.
A commercial truck containing around 700 kg illicit ganja has been recovered from Pavan Singh in PS Kohdaur in Pratapgarh.
Dilip Kori (48), his brother Pradeep Kori (35), maternal uncle Siddhanath (65) and Ram Kumar Prajapati (35) died after consuming the liquor on Tuesday.
Three of the deceased were from the same family and were residents of Katariya village. The fourth was from Aahar Bihar village.
