A Texas appeals court has sided with the city of McAllen in a dispute over a street excavation and repaving project, concluding that neither the city’s mayor nor its commissioners can be ordered to attend mediation to resolve the underlying lawsuit.
NMDOT: Repaving Project Begin On N.M. 76 In Española Area

ESPAÑOLA – The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) would like to alert the travelling public to a pavement rehabilitation project set to begin Monday May 24 in the Española area.
Cutler Repaving Inc. is set to begin work on a pavement overlay project on N.M. 76, starting at Mile Marker 0 and finishing at Mile Marker 10. The project is expected to last 28 working days and will include new pavement and striping over the entire 10-mile length of the project.
Work will occur outside of rush hour traffic to minimize delays to motorists in the area. The northbound lane will be closed 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. while work is being performed on that side of the roadway, and the southbound lane will be closed 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. while work is being performed there.
