WACO, TX â Every year on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, organizations and members of the Waco community participate in random acts of kindness.
Even in the midst of the pandemic, people came out to help make their community a better place.
âThis is what Martin Luther King, Jr. was all about, volunteerism and making this world a better place,â said Keep Waco Beautiful board member, Ben March.
âI would hope Dr. King would be proud of what his legacy has created. That he would be proud that people care about their communities. So, I hope that Dr. King would be proud and happy that we celebrate him today,â said the Keep Waco Beautiful office manager, Linda Ferrell.
