Seven out of eight labor contracts between Crawford County and its various unions remain in various stages of negotiations as almost seven months of 2023 are complete.
Crawford County had one new COVID-related death and 49 new coronavirus cases reported Wednesday.
The newest COVID-related death reported to the Tribune from the Crawford County Coroner s office was that of a 69-year-old man who died at the Crawford County Care Center. That raises the total number of COVID-related deaths in the county to 116.
The Department of Health s data release Wednesday raised the county s total number of coronavirus cases to 4,809 since March
The agency s hospital dashboard listed 36 coronavirus patients hospitalized in the county (a decrease of two from Tuesday), eight adult patients in the ICU (down three), six patients on ventilators (down four) and four adults ICU beds available, a change from eight available Tuesday.
Crawford County had 64 new coronavirus cases and nine new COVID-related deaths reported Wednesday.
The Crawford County Coronerâs Office reported nine new COVID-related deaths to the Tribune, bringing the county s total to 101 since the pandemic began. Five of the nine were women and the ages for all nine ranged from 78 to 100. Three deaths took place at Meadville Medical Center, two at Embassy of Park Avenue, two at Wesbury United Methodist Community and two at the Crawford County Care Center.Â

Of the 64 new cases reported Wednesday, Meadville had an increase of 18 cases (confirmed and probable), as did Conneautville.
