Nine new deaths, 64 cases reported in Crawford County -- coronavirus update, Dec. 23

Crawford County had 64 new coronavirus cases and nine new COVID-related deaths reported Wednesday.
The Crawford County Coroner’s Office reported nine new COVID-related deaths to the Tribune, bringing the county's total to 101 since the pandemic began. Five of the nine were women and the ages for all nine ranged from 78 to 100. Three deaths took place at Meadville Medical Center, two at Embassy of Park Avenue, two at Wesbury United Methodist Community and two at the Crawford County Care Center. 
The Department of Health's latest data release raised the county's total number of coronavirus cases to 4,479 since March.
Of the 64 new cases reported Wednesday, Meadville had an increase of 18 cases (confirmed and probable), as did Conneautville.
