The Centre has allowed all private hospitals to give COVID-19 vaccine if they adhere to the coronavirus-related safety norms. The government has eased the process of registration for eligible beneficiaries in phase 2 of the vaccination against COVID-19. Those above 60 or aged 45-60 with comorbidities are only allowed to take the coronavirus vaccine shots. The Union Health Ministry has clarified that CoWIN mobile app, which is available on Google Play Store, is not meant for booking of Covid-19 vaccination but only to be used by administrators. The government said those who want to register for the Covid-19 vaccination will have to do it via CoWIN portal (cowin.gov.in) only. ....
