Covid-19 JN.1 New Cases LIVE: On Sunday, Maharashtra reported 131 new cases of COVID-19, according to the health department. However, the count of individuals infected with the JN.1 variant remains at 10. The Public Health Department of Maharashtra indicates that 80,23,576 COVID-19 patients have successfully recovered, resulting in a state recovery rate of 98.17 percent. The case fatality rate in Maharashtra stands at 1.81 percent, with 81,72,836 positive cases out of 8,76,33,748 laboratory samples tested, accounting for 9.33 percent.Since January 1, 2023, Maharashtra has recorded 137 COVID-19 deaths, with 70.80 percent occurring in individuals over 60 years of age.
