FRANKFORT After three hours of discussion and a frenzy of attempted amendments, the Kentucky House passed an omnibus school choice bill Thursday evening.
In a major last-minute amendment, families would be able to use education opportunity accounts to cover private school tuition but only in Jefferson, Fayette and Kenton counties.
