COVID-19 vaccine distribution begins in Maricopa County

FOX 10 spoke with Marcy Flanagan, executive director for Maricopa County Public Health, to see how smoothly vaccine distributions are going at the Arizona State Fairgrounds this morning.
PHOENIX - Maricopa County is rolling out the first round of vaccinations to health care workers on Dec. 17, marking a big day in the battle against the COVID-19 virus.
The distributions will take place at the Arizona State Fairgrounds in Phoenix, and 27,000 workers who are eligible have been prescreened to receive the vaccination so far. They are in the 1A, or first phase, group that will get priority for the vaccine. ....
