Nagaland XCC Cross Country Mountain Bike Race concludes

Dimapur, July 9 (EMN): The Nagaland Mountain Biking Association (NMBA) successfully organised the 2nd edition of the Nagaland XCC Cross Country Mountain Bike Race and Ankit emerged winner of the competition. An update from the association informed that a total of 25 cyclists participated in the 20 km race which was flagged off from BSNL Office by Bolto Pusa, Advisor of NMBA, and culminated at Science College Ground, Jotsoma. Ankit raced home to win the first prize, while Nodeto Zao won second prize, Virie third, Victor fourth and Kevithozo Casavi was placed in the fifth position. The update went on to state that the association had sought affiliation from the Nagaland Olympics Association, which will enable it to affiliate with the Cycling Federation of India. This, the association said, “would qualify Nagaland to train and send riders from the state to participate in the national events and beyond”. ....
