That a little switch up on us over the weekend. This morning, it was pretty slick for me, john, wondering, will the rain all throughout the day or just in the Early Morning hours yet the buffet it true that for the spring forward that you probably notice that extra hours sunshine yesterday, which was much appreciated. Weve got some showers out there indeed this morning. And that is making for some slick conditions on some of our roads. This is your look at the Golden Gate Bridge right now. Roadways are slick out. There is continued showers moving right across the region. This is actually only the first in a second line of showers that is actually going to skew through into the evening tonight. Were going follow some breaking news now and begin with that here. First at noon, the fbi raiding the womens correctional facility dublin this morning. Federal investigators have seized computers and documents from that prison. The prison has recently been at the center of a yearslong abuse investigation. The lead to previous charges against a former warden and other employees. An associate warden at a captain removed from the facility this morning. While that raid was underway, Ap Investigation in 2021. Found a culture of abuse and coverups that had persisted for years at the prison and that report led to increased scrutiny from congress and pledges from the federal bureau of prisons to fix the problems. At least 8 employees, including a former warden ray garcia, have been charged with sexually abusing inmates. Garcia was convicted in 2022
Now at 11, a major crash in oakland leaves 14 people injured after a car crashes headon with an ac transit bus. Good evening. Thanks for joining us for news. 11. Im noelle bellow and im grant lotus. This was bad ac transit authorities and Oakland Police are investigating the crash now the Oakland Fire Department first showed up about 5 oclock tonight area of 54th and international. According to ac transit, a chrysler 300 was speeding down international when it first collided with a toyota prius that first crash caused the crisis under jump over the Center Median and then crashed headon with the bus. Officials tell us of the 14 people injured. 2 are in critical condition, including the driver of the speeding car, all 12 passengers who were on the bus were taken to the hospital. Tonight, a united flight from sfo down to mexico city had to divert to lax because the aircrafts hydraulic system was having problems. The faa tells us the flight landed safely at sfo about 4. 30, this afternoon
