Ex J&K Excise Commissioner booked in Disproportionate Assets case by ACB
Jammu, Feb 2 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau Jammu on Tuesday registered a case against the former Excise Commissioner in a Disproportionate Assets case.
As per official handout by ACB the case has been registered against Mohammad Javed Khan, then Excise Commissioner, J&K of Mirza Lane opposite Mecca Masjid, Bathandi.
The case was registered on the basis of a preliminary inquiry that the officer had accumulated huge assets in the shape of immoveable/movable properties in his own name, in the name of his wife and other family members within J&K and outside J&K which includes immovable properties worth crores in Gurgaon, Haryana and movable properties in the shape of cars and other luxurious household items, costly electronics gadgets, jewellery etc, said the statement.
