Ex J&K Excise Commissioner booked in Disproportionate Assets case by ACB
Jammu, Feb 2 (UNI) The Anti-Corruption Bureau Jammu on Tuesday registered a case against the former Excise Commissioner in a Disproportionate Assets case.
As per official handout by ACB the case has been registered against Mohammad Javed Khan, then Excise Commissioner, J&K of Mirza Lane opposite Mecca Masjid, Bathandi.
The case was registered on the basis of a preliminary inquiry that the officer had accumulated huge assets in the shape of immoveable/movable properties in his own name, in the name of his wife and other family members within J&K and outside J&K which includes immovable properties worth crores in Gurgaon, Haryana and movable properties in the shape of cars and other luxurious household items, costly electronics gadgets, jewellery etc, said the statement.
ACB Registers Disproportionate Assets Case Against Former Excise Commissioner
SRINAGAR: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday registered a case of disproportionate assets against a former excise commissioner.
“Anti-Corruption Bureau Jammu registered a case FIR No. 04/2021 in Police Station ACB Jammu against Mohammad Javed Khan then Excise Commissioner, J&K S/O Late Mohammad. Yousaf Khan, a resident of H. No. 4, Mirza Lane opposite Macca Masjid Bathandi,” said the statement.
