Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) commissioner Iqbal Chahal told India Today TV that the next 12 days are crucial for Mumbai in view of the rising Covid-19 cases in the city. Chahal said that the BMC will be ruthless and not spare anyone found flouting Covid-19 norms.
Mumbai: "Avoid overcrowding. Use face masks, follow all protocols while in public events, gatherings, weddings, etc..It is up to you. Otherwise, be prepared for another lockdown," said CM Uddhav Thackeray.
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) mayor Kishori Pednekar on Tuesday said that a lockdown may have to be imposed in Mumbai in view of the rise in Covid-19 cases "if people don't follow rules", news agency ANI reported.
