Considering the recent rise in Covid-19 cases, the civic body in Maharashtra s Nagpur city on Wednesday directed that restaurants, hotels and eateries will remain closed on weekends till further orders, an official said.

The surge in Covid-19 cases is evident in Mumbai, as Asia’s largest slum Dharavi reporting cases in double-digit on Wednesday.
Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) commissioner Iqbal Chahal told India Today TV that the next 12 days are crucial for Mumbai in view of the rising Covid-19 cases in the city. Chahal said that the BMC will be ruthless and not spare anyone found flouting Covid-19 norms.
