Alloweve we should private colleges and universities to compete with public universities because it is competition that provides better opportunities. If they have a higher loan default rate, lets tighten the standards. Lets not put colleges or universities out of business as the senator has done. I believe greater use of technology such as learning over the web, taking advantage of the very best teachers would provide a way to bring down some of the cost of education.
