Ways and Means meeting rescheduled The Herkimer County Legislature Committee on Ways and Means will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, in the Legislature Chambers. The committee meeting originally set for Thursday, Feb. 18, was canceled and rescheduled. UTICA Portion of Lafayette Street closed on Friday A portion of Lafayette Street, between State and Cornelia Streets, will be closed to traffic from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, to allow for concrete work in the new Mohawk Valley Health System regional medical center.
