Pierre, SD, USA / DRGNews Apr 21, 2021 3:06 PM PIERRE – Jessica Lutmer and Blake Wagner of Governor Track & Field are the Pierre Athletic Coaches Association-Avera Athletes of the Week for the week ending April 17. Lutmer had a second place finish in the 1600 meters at the Corn Palace Relays on April 17 in Mitchell and a third place finish in the 3200 meters, cutting 50 seconds to run the third-fastest girls’ 3200 meter time in school history, 11:56.64. Head Greg Starr said of Lutmer, “When it comes to dedication and work ethic, a coach will not find any better than her. She understands what it takes to get to the next level and her times are showing, as she is running personal bests in all of her events, early in the year.” ....
