+ May 06, 2021 THE City Government of Bacolod is temporarily suspending the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) mass vaccination program for healthcare workers and senior citizens at the Cinema lobby, South Wing of SM City, Bacolod on Friday, May 7, 2021.
The Covid-19 Vaccination Council (CoVac) in an advisory said it needed to reassess its protocols and procedures, including crowd control, to implement a more orderly and safer flow of vaccination.
The vaccination, which started on May 3 with a daily schedule from 10 a.m. to 5 p. m., aimed to accommodate remaining healthcare workers, senior citizens and persons with comorbidities who have yet to receive Covid-19 vaccine jabs.

+ February 17, 2021 A TRICYCLE driver died in a road accident along Granada-Alangilan Road, Barangay Granada, Bacolod City Tuesday evening, February 16, 2021.
Police identified the fatality as Jose Ronie Ruel Jr., 34, of Sitio Balogo, Barangay Concepcion, Talisay City.
Police Lieutenant Ma. Liberty Indiape, spokesperson of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), said the victim sustained serious injuries on his head and body. He was brought to the Corazon Locsin Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH), but he did not survive.
